Abstract

In this study, Fe-Cr-Cu nanocatalysts were fabricated by two novel methods that were based on inorganic precursors. Catalytic activities of these nanocatalysts were investigated for high temperature water gas shift reaction. For comparison purpose, a reference catalyst was prepared through co-precipitation-impregnation conventional method. Results reveal that Fe-Cr-Cu nanocatalysts fabricated via inorganic precursor thermolysis exhibit smaller particle sizes, higher BET surface areas and higher catalytic activities compared to reference sample, indicating influence of fabrication method.
