KTiOPO4 nano particles were synthesized by co-precipitation method with poly vinyle alcohol as capping agent. Different mole ratios of poly vinyl alcohol were used to study the size and optical and structural quality of nanoparticles. XRD analysis confirmed the orthorhombic structure of synthesized nanoparticles. The smallest and biggest KTP nanoparticles were synthesized with 3:1 and 1:3 mole ratios of capping agent respectively. The structural and optical quality of synthesized nanoparticles were studied using FT-IR and UV-Vis analyses. The lowest and highest impurity absorption peaks were observed at 1:3 and 3:1 mole ratios of PVA as capping agent respectively. Perfect optical structure belongs to 3:1 and 1:2 mole ratios.
